Civil Litigation Disputes

Civil litigation is when two or more parties are involved in a legal dispute. One or both of these parties will be seeking compensation for specific damages. This does not include criminal sanctions. The term for a lawyer who handles civil litigation cases is either a trial lawyer or a litigator.

These trial lawyers will represent their party in hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations. They will do this before local courts, state courts, federal courts, foreign tribunals, and administrative agencies. Therefore, if you ever find yourself in a situation where you are in such a dispute you will need to hire a lawyer to solve it.
